Azorina vidalii

9 cm pot.  Something unusual to try, Azorina vidalii is the Azores Bellflower and is from the campanulaceae family.  Grows to 30cm high and naturally found in the crevices of coastal cliffs of the islands of Azores.  It forms a shrub like plant with woody stems and whorls of glossy thick leaves emerge then eye-catching pink bells appear.  It probably won't bloom in it's first year but worth the wait.  After this performance it may die but not before supplying you with copious seeds for future plants.  Needs protection from frost.
