Physostegia virginiana 'Rosea'
This is a hardy perennial with upright stems reaching 1m+ carrying numerous pink flowers on the end of the stems. It can tend to be vigorous, spreading via underground runners so select its planting position with this in mind. It doesn't seem to mind growing under trees as long as adequate light is received. Also known as 'Obedient Plant' as the individual flowers can be gently positioned to face in any direction and will apparently stay there. Great for flower arranging and loved by bees and beneficial insects. Perennial starter 9cm pot.
