Salvia Deep Blue
Out of stock
1 litre sized pot. I have had this Salvia for a couple of years now and I still cant totally work out its heritage but I love it! It is winter dormant, reappearing each spring, I thought it was frost tender, but one I had planted out in the garden survived winter and is growing away again so it may be hardier than I had initially thought. It has furry arrow shaped leaves which reminds me of Salvia sagittata or Salvia patens but I'm not totally convinced it's either! The flowering stems droop slightly, becoming more upright as the flowers form and open and the flower colour is a gorgeous dark, deep blue. It seems to only reach 50-60cm in height. Will add more photos as I get them and if you have any clues as to what it might be then please email me.
