Dipsacus fullonum Teasels Fuller Comb
Out of stock
Perennial starter 9cm pot. Teasel Fuller Comb is a hardy biennial that makes an eye-catching feature in the garden, reaching 150cm + high and loving a sunny position in well-drained soil. The green foliage and strong stems are covered in spikes and the flower head is a cylindrical shape that has bands of tiny lavender flowers, loved by bees. Makes a great dried flower and was once used to raise the nap (bring out the ends of the fibres) on woolen cloth. I love the texture this plant provides in a planting scheme. Being a biennial it will flower and set seed in it's second year, I always leave some flower heads to seed to ensure more plants the following year.
