Aster macrophyllus syn. Eurybia macrophylla
1 litre sized pot. Aster macrophyllus is a winter dormant perennial that has large heart shaped basal leaves and then in late summer and autumn it has violet flowers with yellow centres held 40-60cm high. It copes in partial shade, tolerating reasonably dry conditions once established. If the shade is too dense it may not flower. It is also known as "Big leaf Aster". Makes a good deciduous ground cover.
