Spirea japonica Goldflame
Out of stock
Back in late spring 2021. 1 litre sized pot. Spirea japonica Goldflame is a wonderful compact growing deciduous shrub. Loved for its foliage which emerge a bronze-red colour and then change to a bright yellow-green before a final transition to a copper-orange colour in autumn. Pink flowers appear in clusters in early summer. Slow growing, reaching 1m at maturity but easy to prune to desired height/shape. I have one planted near Leucanthemum x superbum "Shasta Daisy" and Persicaria microcephala Red Dragon and the contrasting foliage and flower colours makes for a great combination through out the year.
