9 cm pot. Succisa pratensis form rosettes of oval mid-green leaves. During the summer-autumn months strong slender stems arise bearing delicate lilac round scabious type flowers that begin looking like they are covered in pin heads before the tiny flowers open. This intriguing plant is found in moist damp soil in its natural habitat but does tolerate a well drained soil but wouldn't want to be baked to a crisp! Can reach up to 80-90 cm tall.
