The garden and nursery is open to visitors year round, via appointment only  We do hold open days (information for these is on our homepage).

Visiting Garden Groups are able to  bring along their morning tea/lunch etc and can set up on the terrace, wander the gardens, shop for plants and I am also happy to talk to the group, sharing the story behind the garden and nursery. I do have a hot water urn I can set up if required.

When planning a garden visit you may want to include a detour to Nikau Cafe  http://nikaucave.co.nz/cafe (approx 30 mins from here) for a lovely lunch as part of your day out, or a take a trip onwards to Raglan or perhaps try the Glen Afton Steam Train.
